Illustrated Hand-drawn Portraits

The Alliance for American Manufacturing commissioned hand-drawn portraits of workers in the manufacturing sector to accompany a blog post reflecting on the presidential State of the Union Address, with a focus on the current state of American manufacturing. Initially, individual portraits were created for each interviewee. Later, the project expanded to include a group portrait, depicting the workers as if they were part of the crowd at the State of the Union.
